OLA :D
Went Kits4Kids at Telok Karau . Seriously , i think it really causes me to have alot of mixed feelings . I have to admit i was quite intimidated by the kids at first for some of them are really hyperactive , while some of them are really quiet as if they have autism . Well , kits4kids is a school whereby they enrolled kids ranging from 18months old to 18years old :) Esp for kids with special needs . I did not dare to interact with them . But after a while , i found out that they are just like normal kids . They play , they jump ard , they smile at ppl they know . Just that some of their actions are weird :X i really liked their objective ," We believe every child can learn . " People will look at them using different perspective , and hence , those kids will always be the ones that are being left out .
Seeing the smiles of the kids , seeing them grab your hands and jump ard , seeing them sitting on your laps suddenly and smile at you , seeing them being so satisfied with just simple and little things like sandwich making ... it really warms my heart . I was so touched when a cute little boy offers me his biscuits which was meant to be his tea-break ( i suppose ) . He is really generous alright . :) We spent alot of time interacting w the kids , talking to them , playing w them . They were really cute and have a good heart :) . There was this group of boys . They are hyperactive , keeps on jumping and talking and could never sit still for a second . Ahahha , i swear they can be really fun . They are very enthu when it comes to playing games and as long as you talk nicely to them , they will cooperate with you . There was this quite good looking yellow shirt boy . He is damn quiet . No matter how hard i try , he still ignores me *heartbreak* D: .
There are all kinds of children there , but what you have to do is , treat them sincerely , talk to them nicely and treat them like normal beings and they will be alright .
A bright smile + A sincere heart + being friendly = trust gained from the children :D
Dun ever look down on children , you will gain alot of knowledge from them :)
